CookInMyHome [CIMH], CANCELATION & REFUND POLICIES & OPTIONS

CookInMyHome(CIMH) allows COOK to choose among three standardized cancellation policies (Flexible, Moderate, and Strict) that will enforce to protect both FOODIE and COOK alike. Each listing and order/booking on our site will clearly state the cancellation policy. FOODIE may cancel and review any penalties by viewing their orders and bookings and then clicking ‘ CANCEL’ on the appropriate order and bookings. A COOK will be able to see the number of orders and booking a FOODIE has canceled over the previous 12 months when the FOODIE submits a request to the order and bookings.

 

Flexible: Full refund 3 days before event start

The CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee is not refundable.

Listing menu price (the total rate you're charged, except CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.

If there is a complaint from either party, notice must be given to CookInMyHome(CIMH) within 24 hours of the event's start.

CookInMyHome(CIMH) will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.

An order or booking is officially canceled when the FOODIE clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in 

Dashboard > Your Reservations > Change or Cancel.

Cancellation policies may be superseded by the FOODIE Refund Policy, extenuating circumstances, or cancellations by CookInMyHome(CIMH) for any other reason permitted under the Terms of Service. Please review these exceptions.

Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.

For a full refund of Listing menu price If the FOODIE cancels less than 72 hours before 

(the total rate you're charged, except CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee), event start, 25% of the total rate you’re charged is non-refundable.

Cancellation must be made a full 3 days (72 hours before listing’s event start time on the day of the event. 

For example, if the event is on Thursday, cancel by Monday of that week before the event start.

 

Moderate: Full refund 5 days before event start

The CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee is not refundable.

For a full refund of the Listing menu price If the foodie cancels less than 120 hours before 

(the total rate you're charged, except CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee), event start, 35% of the total rate you’re charged is non-refundable.

Cancellation must be made a full 5 days (120 hours before listing’s event start time on the day of the event. 

For example, if the event is on Thursday, cancel by the previous Saturday, before the event start.

 

Strict: Full refund up until 1 week before event start

The CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee is not refundable.

Listing menu price (the total rate you're charged, except CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.

For a full refund of the Listing menu price If the FOODIE cancels less than 168 hours before 

(the total rate you're charged, except CookInMyHome(CIMH) service fee), event start, 50% of the total rate you’re charged is non-refundable.

Cancellation must be made a full 7 days (168 hours before listing’s event start time on the day of the event. 

For example, if the event is on Thursday, cancel by the previous Thursday, before the event start.
